Job summary

We are seeking a full-time Medical Photographer to join our Media Studio's Clinical Photography Team, producing high-quality clinical and ophthalmic photography for the Trust.

The successful candidate will work both on site and at off-site clinics, supporting the continued expansion of our Teledermatology service.

Media Studio is a modern department providing a comprehensive medical illustration service within a dynamic and continually expanding environment.

The Clinical Photography Team photographs a wide range of patients across our studios, hospital wards and departments, as well as at our off-site clinics. The role therefore offers a varied and rewarding opportunity to work across a diverse range of clinical settings while maintaining high standards of quality, professionalism and patient care.

Main duties of the job

The role primarily involves clinical and teledermatology photography, with some additional responsibility for ophthalmic photography. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in clinical photography or an equivalent qualification and/or have relevant experience. They should be proficient in using current photographic equipment and image-processing software, with strong photographic skills and a high level of attention to detail.

The role will involve working at off-site hubs to provide teledermatology photography services, as well as working as part of a team of photographers based at the Addenbrooke's site. Duties will include clinical and ophthalmic photography, requiring flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to maintain high professional standards across a range of clinical settings.
