Job summary

As Clinical Director you will work as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high quality, evidence based, patient centered care. The role will involve both clinical working and strategic leadership. This role is an integral part of the senior Medical Directorate leadership team, which includes an Associate Medical Director and other Clinical Directors. The role involves working closely with a diverse stakeholder group including Medical Education, Clinical Substance Misuse, Nursing, Pharmacy, Secondary Care Mental Health, Psychosocial Recovery Services, Palliative Care, Clinical Governance and Performance Leads, Operational leaders both at site and regionally, prison governors, and commissioners.
