Job summary

We are looking for a Housekeeper/Caterer to join our facilities team based at Hafod Y Wennol Pontyclun CF72 8JX.

This is a dual post consisting of both cleaning and catering.

Catering & Cleaning knowledge and experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

This post is a 15 hours post working 2 x 7.5 per shifts per week

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

You will be working on a 3 week rota as below, But will be expected to change to cover service needs

week 1 Tuesday 9am-5pm / Friday 6.30am-2.30pm

week 2 Monday and Tuesday 9am-5pm

week 3 Tuesday and Friday 9am-5pm

Post holder will need to be able to travel to the Unit independently, as the location of Unit is located in Pontyclun CF72 8JX

Possession of an accredited Food Hygiene Certificate is advantageous but not essential for post as training will be provided

Flexible approach is required due to service needs

This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. Whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. If you're comfortable holding everyday conversations in Welsh, we encourage you to apply.
