Band 6 Experienced Physiotherapist for Tower Hamlets, Community Therapy Team (CTT)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join our Community Health Services at East London NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a Band 6 Physiotherapist with a broad clinical experience across: orthopaedics, neurology, respiratory as well as care of the elderly and enjoy the challenges of providing rehabilitation to people in their own homes.
The Community Therapy Team covers a range of healthcare needs including rehabilitation at home, palliative care, falls prevention, admission avoidance, management of long-term conditions and support towards self-management. Experience in all these areas is desirable.
You will be supported by experienced Band 7 Physiotherapists, and work alongside a dedicated team of other Band 6 & 7 Physiotherapists, as well as Occupational therapists in the team. In your role you will be responsible for rehab support workers and students. This will offer you the opportunity to develop your supervisory and managerial skills.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative, and flexible physiotherapist to join our team in working with patients in the community.
Applicants must have a strong clinical skills as well as the ability to manage complex cases independently, providing a comprehensive therapy assessment and intervention, evidencing problem solving and clinical reasoning skills in line with evidence-base practice.
The work is varied and challenging and your role is to support the multidisciplinary team across the service as well as deputising for the team lead when required.
