We are looking to appoint a new Locum Consultant in ENT (Otology) that will enhance the serviceof our ENT department that covers a population of approximately 560,000 patients with on-callcover population of around 1 million (shared with West Herts NHS Trust). The Trust is the largestin Hertfordshire and in the Integrated care services network.The Trust has a comprehensive programme of leadership mentoring available for newly qualifiedConsultants. Opportunities are also available to other Consultant appointees to play an active partin the programme.
Main duties of the job
- To provide general ENT service with oncall cover for East and North Herts and West Herts (all of Hertfordshire)
- To work alongside existing consultants to provide cover for the trust and region
- To develop new services
- To participate in the department's teaching, audit, research and educational activities
