Main duties of the job
The Band 5 ICU Staff Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centred care to critically ill patients. The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care under the supervision of senior ICU colleagues while developing specialist critical care knowledge and competencies.
The role requires safe clinical decision-making, accurate documentation, effective communication, and adherence to Trust policies, NMC standards, and national critical care guidelines.
