The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulation Agency (MHRA) are seeking to appoint an advertising and consumer sector specialist member to the Review Panel.
The purpose of the Review Panel is to hear representations, in accordance with the legislation, from those who disagree with a decision made by the MHRA. The Review Panel members are greatly appreciated for making their professional expertise available for a public service role that carries out statutory and non-statutory reviews of proposals, decisions and provisional decisions taken by Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency.
Main duties of the job
Expertise Required: As the advertising sector and consumer understanding of medicines both continue to evolve, a consumer-sector specialist is sought to be a member of the Review Panel and provide technical expertise regarding:
- review of provisional determinations made by the MHRA concerning the classification of a product as a medicine rather than a consumer product; and
- review of minded to determinations by MHRA on the advertising of medicinal products.
To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the qualities, skills and experience to meet all the essential criteria for appointment.
