Job summary
You'll support people attending our day centre through personalised care, helping them stay independent, safe and included. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team that works closely with colleagues and carers. Your role will help create a welcoming environment where people feel respected and valued. Every day, you'll help individuals enjoy meaningful activities and receive care that meets their needs and choices.

Main duties of the job
What you'll do:
- Support people with personal care, mobility, eating and drinking
- Encourage independence while promoting dignity and respect
- Help people take part in social, recreational and therapeutic activities
- Communicate clearly with service users, carers and colleagues
- Keep accurate records and follow care plans and policies
What we're looking for:
- Experience or a qualification in adult health or social care, or a willingness to learn
- Caring, patient and respectful approach to supporting others
- Confidence working with people who may feel distressed or unwell
- Ability to work well in a team and manage your own tasks
- Basic IT skills and willingness to complete required training
