About us

We work in a busy market town in South Norfolk and we are 26 miles from our nearest hospital.

We have a fantastic team of nurses including a Nurse Practitioner, Outreach Nurse who looks after our frail and elderly, and three HCAs. We all support each other and have developed good working relationships and friendships.

We have good support from our admin and dispensary staff. We also benefit greatly from having a Social Prescriber, Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Mental Health Worker, and First Contact Physiotherapy. Our Community Nursing Team is based on our premises along with Community Physio, Podiatrist, Hand Physio, SALT, etc. The community staff often come directly to us to speak to a GP or Nurse when they need to.

We encourage ongoing learning and development with study leave allowance. Our team works collaboratively with our GPs and other medical and non-clinical staff. We value all of our staff and listen to them.

The nursing team works in a nursing wing which includes a large treatment room with bariatric equipment and life support emergency trolley. It has space for several clinicians to work, if necessary and our minor surgeries are carried out in this room, mostly.
