Job summary

There is an exciting opportunity to join the Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Team who are looking to recruit a part time Team Administrator to join our friendly but fast paced multi-disciplinary team.

The post holder must have experience of working within an administrative environment and will be working closely with our doctors. You will need to have a warm and professional manner; the successful candidate will be working as part of a team and therefore being a team player is essential as well as having the ability to work independently with good IT skills.

Please note this is a part time role for 27.5 hours per week and cannot be offered as full time hours

Main duties of the job

To provide confidential and courteous administration support to the Early Intervention in Psychosis Team. Receipt of new referrals ensuring they are triaged and carryout the required administration, arranging initial assessments, liaising with our Service\users to agree a suitable date/time for their assessment. Booking in the HCP diary and liaising with the assessor.

Provide excellent administrative support to the Early Intervention in Psychosis Team, including sending of assessment/discharge letters, arranging assessments. Sending out letters either electronically to the GP or emailed as appropriate once they have been reviewed as accurate and then uploaded onto the RIO system.

Preparation of the notes for the daily Zoning MDT meetings and weekly Multi-Disciplinary Team meeting and recording all outcomes on spreadsheets and caseload management on the Electronic Patient Recording System. Ensuring all agreed actions are carried out immediately on receipt and raise any issues that may result to the Care Navigator immediately. To allocate care coordinator following outcome of MDT and to discharge referrals etc.

Ensure that patient medical record systems are available and monitor that they are correctly maintained. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring correct RIO demographics, validations systems, and spine synchronisation, up-loading and maintaining correct documentation.

To manage telephone enquiries on behalf of the Team and any other admin ad hoc duties.
