Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Newly Qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work across both clinic-based and school provision settings, supporting children with a wide range of speech, language, communication, and interaction needs.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work with children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism spectrum condition, developmental language disorder, speech sound difficulties, social communication needs, and other language and communication differences. The role offers a varied caseload and the opportunity to develop clinical skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Job description
- Assess, plan, and deliver speech and language therapy interventions for children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, teachers, and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Provide therapy within both clinic and educational settings.
- Support children with a range of communication profiles, including complex communication needs.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, reports, and therapy plans.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive therapeutic environment.
