Main duties of the job

The Cook role at Agincare Homes Holdings involves more than just cooking. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing a high quality of life for residents. The role requires collaboration with the home manager to plan menus reflecting residents' preferences, including themed days and events. You will manage the kitchen, ensuring hygiene and stock standards are maintained while catering to specific nutritional and dietary needs, including modified food textures and allergies. A day in the life of a Cook

  • Menu planning -Collaborating with the home manager and our residents' requests and wishes, you will be able to develop and implement menu ideas. Our homes are always having themed days and events where you can showcase your skills and creativity.
  • Understanding dietary needs - You will work closely with the wider staff to ensure we are meeting our resident's specific nutritional and dietary needs including modified food textures and allergies.
  • Kitchen Management -You will be the main point of contact for the kitchen and responsible for the day to day running of stock management and hygiene standards
