Duties will include arranging the delivery and collection of medical equipment between wards and departments (including community locations), maintaining accurate equipment records and ensuring equipment is available for loan, storage or repair.

The role involves carrying out functional checks on equipment following appropriate training, undertaking equipment audits, managing stock rotation and supporting stock control processes. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate database records, responding to telephone/electronic enquiries, supporting administrative functions within the department and ensuring compliance with Trust policies, including infection prevention, decontamination and health and safety procedures.
