Are you an experienced Anaesthetic Practitioner looking to join one of Europe's largest and most renowned cardiac centres?
Barts Heart Centre is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Cath Lab Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our specialist team on a one-year Fixed Term Contract. This role offers the opportunity to work across our world-renowned Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart services, supporting patients undergoing some of the most advanced cardiac procedures performed in the UK.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert anaesthetic support for patients undergoing complex procedures under conscious sedation and general anaesthesia, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety throughout their journey.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide specialist anaesthetic support for a range of procedures including:
Atrial Fibrillation (AF) ablations
Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) ablations
Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) ablations
Atrial Flutter ablations
Lead extraction procedures
Pacemaker, ICD and CRT implantations
Conduction system pacing procedures
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI)
Mitral and Tricuspid Valve Interventions
Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion Procedures
Other Heart Interventions
You will work closely with Consultant Anaesthetists, Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Nurses and Physiologists to deliver safe and effective care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
