Job summary
We have an opportunity available to cover maternity from August 2026 to work as a Speciality Doctor in the General Adult Community Team in the Chesterfield Neighbourhood.
The post holder will be required to have Psychiatric experience. This would normally equate to 2 years and ideally 3 years experience.They will join a team of experienced and supportive colleagues who share good camaraderie and excellent working relationships. Main duties of the job
The post holder will play a key role in community clinical work and provide non-consultant medical input to their Consultants' patients in the community. The post holder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team. They will be involved in urgent assessments in the community, in the outpatient clinic alongside the Consultants and in other assessments with the community team.
Working in accordance with our people first approach you will lead by example, acting as a role model within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to ensure the highest level of clinical standards. You will ensure, along with the Consultant that the team provides safe, effective therapeutic care within a specialist newly purpose-built ward environment.
