Main duties of the job
The Administrator will provide high-level, autonomous administrative and coordination support to the Tuberculosis (TB) and Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) team. Working independently and using initiative, the post holder will manage complex patient pathways, oversee clinic scheduling, maintain high-quality data for monitoring and public health reporting, and act as a primary point of contact for patients, clinical teams, and external partners. The role requires proactive problem-solving, ownership of administrative processes, and the ability to make informed decisions within defined limits to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the TB and respiratory services. The post holder will contribute to service development, identify administrative improvements, and support the CNS team in delivering a safe and responsive service. The post holder will provide assistance to the respiratory department when required and as requested.
