Bestwood & Sherwood Primary Care Network covers a neighbourhood in Nottingham City. There are 8 Network Member Practices caring for a combined patient population of 55000+.

Two practices in the Network (See below) each have a potential vacancy for a part-time GP, to be funded under the terms of the Network DES Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) for GP, on a fixed term contract until 31/3/2027. These are not locum posts.

  • GMS practice with list size of appx 4.400 patients
  • Team consists of 1 partners and 1 salaried GP, and 1 regular Locum, x2 nurses, HCA and GP assistants, working alongside an established PCN workforce which currently includes pharmacists, social prescribers, physician associate and first contact physiotherapists.
  • Large training and teaching practice with registrars, F2s and medical students
  • A comprehensive management structure
  • High QOF achievements
  • Wide range of DES/LES
  • Paper-light practice (SystmOne clinical software)

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and communication skills and must hold MRCGP. You will deliver quality patient care and share in the clinical workload. You will be encouraged to contribute to the running and development of our practice, which will involve leadership and team working.
