About the role:

We are pleased to offer this excellent opportunity to join our team in the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care as one of our Programmes Officers.

The work of our Programmes Team is essential to supporting the learning and teaching of over 3,500 students at King’s each year. As one of our Programmes Officers, you will help us to provide world-leading educational support for our students. This is particularly important to us, as our Faculty’s position in the QS World University Rankings places nursing at King’s as 1st the UK and 2nd globally.

Our Programmes Team works closely with professional services staff and senior academic staff within the Faculty, and other Students & Education services across King’s. The postholder will primarily work on supporting our Continuing Professional Development course provision. The Programme Officer will provide essential operational and administrative support to both academic staff and students, with a strong emphasis on meeting the needs of an internationally diverse student cohort. The Programme Officer will also contribute more broadly across the Programmes Team where needed.

The successful candidate will work proactively to support a broad range of stakeholders. With a highly motived approach, the successful candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as delivering within a team. Most importantly, they will have a passionate commitment to working to ensure the best possible experience for all our students here at King’s.

The selection process will include a panel interview and an assessment.

This is a full-time post, and you will be offered a fixed term contract for 2 years.

King’s considers the professional and personal development of our staff a priority and we offer an inspiring range of opportunities for training and career progression. Our Organisational Development team provide in-house and bespoke learning.
