Kinfauns Medical Practice is based in Drumchapel Health Centre and just off Great Western Road/close to both Erksine and Renfrew bridges, so easily accessible from all parts of Glasgow and the central belt.

We are a practice of approximately 3,000 patients with 2 GP partners and a 6 session Salaried GP. We are supported by a great managerial and administrative team, a fantastic HCA, Pharmacy team, full time link worker; as well as allied health personnel all based within the Health Centre. There is an active and engaged GP cluster group.

With the new funding restoration for general practice, we are keen to expand our team with the addition of a 4 session Salaried GP. This would be required for full day Thursday and Friday, working each week.
We are BMA compliant with our Salaried contract, and pay is competitive.

Appointment slots are 15 minutes and maximum 25 appointments per day. We are a low house visit practice and these are democratically shared when they do occur. We do not have a duty doctor system and are keen to avoid this going forward.

We are a deep end practice and encourage anyone with an interest in this type of medicine or previous experience to apply- but is not essential. It is a rewarding practice to work in, with potential to be involved in influencing advocacy for this type of patient group, and undergraduate medical education.
