Locum GP Opportunity – Oakview Medical Practice

Oakview Medical Practice is seeking one or more friendly and reliable Locum GPs to cover a 6 month adoption leave period between now and the end of April 2027. We have 4 sessions per week that we would be very happy to hear from clinicians who can cover all or part of this period, with sessions arranged flexibly by mutual agreement.

About the Practice
Oakview Medical Practice is a forward-thinking GP partnership serving approximately 9,400 patients across two modern sites:

• The Vale Centre for Health & Care
• Renton Integrated Healthy Living Centre

We are a supportive training practice with a strong multidisciplinary ethos. Our experienced team includes 10 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, Practice Nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapist, phlebotomists, community link worker, and an excellent administrative team, alongside on-site Health Board treatment room services and close working with District Nursing and Health Visiting teams.

We use askmyGP for asynchronous consulting. Training and support are available, although we are equally happy to accommodate traditional face-to-face clinics depending on clinician preference.

Requirements:
Applicants must be GMC registered, on the GP Register, and on the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Performers List.
